Basic usage
The delivery date extension requests a preferable delivery date/time at the checkout .
The extension can work in three main modes:
1) Request a date like "January 2, 2028"
2) Request a date and time like "January 2, 2028 14:30"
3) Request a date and time interval specified by the admin. Example: "January 2, 2028 14:30 - 15:30"
The mode is selected at the extension settings page.
Next, you can specify what dates and time are available for selection at the checkout. Most likely they are correlate to working time of your company when you can fulfil the delivery. Those settings are defined on the delivery dates page.
'Regular days' Tab and 'Holidays' tab define time and dates available for input by the customer.
The 'Delivery Time' tab specifies what shipping methods are available for date time delivery and how much time each of them need to be ready for dispatching. For example, a courier delivery might need less time than a delivery of large-size item by a truck. The delivery time can also include the time necessary for delivery to specific places of your delivery area.

How to Start
First, decide what information you would like to request from customers. Will it be date, date & time, or you prefer them to choose time intervals. Select the delivery type accordingly on the extension settings page.Next, you can specify what dates and time are available for selection at the checkout.
